An Israeli drone struck a medicine warehouse inside the Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital compound in Deir el-Balah on 29 August, wounding several people. The hospital said the store of medical supplies was hit; the IDF said in a text statement that it had struck a Hamas commander hiding in the compound and released no video.

Al Jazeera reported the hospital director’s account of a drone strike on a tent used as a medical-supply warehouse, with three people injured. EFE, citing hospital staff, later put the wounded at four, including a four-month-old infant, and said two projectiles were fired from a drone. The IDF confirmed it had struck inside the Shuhada Al-Aqsa Hospital compound, claiming without naming him that a Hamas commander who posed an immediate threat was the target and that medical authorities had been warned on 27 August against military use of hospitals. Hamas had not commented at packaging. Distinct from the 1 August destruction of medicine warehouses at the same hospital, and from the 25 August strike on an Ard El Insan nutrition warehouse in Deir el-Balah. The PalinfoAr clip shows the aftermath at the medicine store, not an IDF release.
