CENTCOM said US forces boarded the Comoros-flagged tanker M/T Charminar in the Arabian Sea to enforce the naval blockade of Iranian ports; commercial tracking later showed the ship resuming course toward Shinas, Oman.
ISW reported a 25 July 2026 CENTCOM announcement that US forces boarded Charminar, previously sanctioned over Iranian oil smuggling, as part of blockade enforcement. Maritime data cited by ISW on 26 July indicated the vessel later resumed toward Shinas, Oman. CBS the same day relayed a US military tally that included two boardings under the reimposed blockade. This is a discrete boarding action, not a full daily blockade tally.
