Al Masirah relayed at 02:52 UTC on 7 October 2026 a statement by Houthi military spokesman Brigadier General Yahya Saree saying that Houthi forces carried out two operations against Abha International Airport and the Khamis Mushait air base with a number of ballistic missiles and drones. The spokesman said the hits were accurate, that they disrupted air navigation at Abha airport and caused damage at Khamis Mushait. The post gives no clock time and no day for the strikes. A strike on Abha airport was already reported on 6 October, and the new Khamis Mushait claim does not by itself show a second new strike on Abha. No Saudi account confirming any strike or damage was available to this report.

A Houthi military claim relayed by one outlet, not independently confirmed.
