UKMTO issued warning 120-26 after the master of an oil tanker reported the vessel was struck by an unknown projectile about 9 nautical miles northeast of Ash Shishah, Oman, damaging the engine room and disabling the ship. Crew are reported safe. It is the second tanker attack reported in the region on Aug. 24, after a strike west of Yanbu.
